"Paranoid, brings forth a more downtempo feel and combines that with doses of glo-fi, albeit with that sitting only as its impressive emotive base, not up front and dominant. The atmosphere and sound that Eriksson creates is first rate - get the headphones on to it and you'll know exactly what I mean. Paranoid contains five tracks and each, unlike the previous EPs features vocals by Eriksson himself. Each is inspired very much by the sub-conscious, a desire to escape the ordinary and everyday. While the first four are very much electronically driven, the final track, 'Valerie's Story' based on a character from the film V for Vendetta features heartfelt guitar mixed with slight percussion and barely audible but effective voice work in its mix.
With Paranoid, Eriksson has once again put down another electronic blueprint to fit the times. It's amazing that one so young can produce such depth in his work. One can only hope that he begins to get the recognition from the blog world and other places that he richly deserves. " From: www.indie30.com
